Now it is time to put together all produced pieces. First we install the Elevators to the Horizontal Stabilizer.

On a single seater aircraft this is about the size of the wings!

The Elevators get removed again and the Horizontal Stabilizer installed on the tailcone

The Vettical Stabilizer is also attached.

No, I am not building a satellite. It is on end of the pushrod for the Elevators - partly assembled.

Here I try to bolt on the Elevators again. I try to smile but it is a fight though I probably have two of the smallest hands in the builders community. I can't imagine the 280 lbs guys doing this!?

Both Elevators attached.

With the Rudder in place to looks like the tail of an aircraft!

IT IS the tail on an aircraft, dummy!

Lessons learned

The parts for the F635 Bellkrank Assembly were not correctly produced by Van's. The  gap for the rod end bearing is about 1/8" (3 mm) to narrow. With Van's blessing I had to rebend them myself.
