My very limitid flying experiences tell me that good defrost fans are a must during spring, automn and winter. So before attaching the windshield I wanted to install the fans

Attachment holes drilled and dimpled.
Now installed.

I wanted to have lighted switches in the cockpit.I bought all lighted 12 Volt swiches capable of at least 20A from the biggest German electronics distributor (Conrad) and checked them out. Unlighted and ...
... lighted. Either they were too bright or too dark, or had a inferior feelin. I decided on the one in the middle, capable of 30A and one of the more expensive but still very reasonable (around $6)
If you thought that building an airplane was like glueing together some cardboard then you were right! Here is what I intend to do on the center console.
